I’d rather be on record with they were close than “Haha there never was any nuclear to actually be worried about!! It was all a conspiracy!!”

Keep up the fight, patriot. When this movie ends you won’t believe the vindication.

Have you ever heard of “mobile missle launchers”?

PRESIDENT Trump needs to take direct control of military operations and get this over with. He should be commanding general yesterday!!!!

That really is a new one. Are you fearful that h’e’s been squeezed out of the picture on this deal?

I am amazed to see there are dumbasses that think we started this "war in Iran" and that its some how a war of convenience/choice.
The United States and Israel started this war
Flip a coin and pick which one of the 2 you think is more responsible.
You could argue that we couldn't reign Israel in and that's why we joined (that's the Rubio story) or you could argue we started it with them. But you can't claim that we (the United States and Israel) did not start this war. That is simply ignoring reality.

So we couldn’t reign in Israel, and then we could reign in Israel? In somewhere around a month’s time?
Posted on 7/18/26 at 11:56 pm to davyjones
Well buddy. It's a theory. If you're going to say we didn't start the war the only explanation could be that we couldn't reign in Israel.
Or you would just have to acknowledge that we DID start the war with Israel.

Or one could argue Iran started the war when they initiated a nuclear weapons program, knowing the reaction that would generate from Israel.

Trump didn’t start action between these two countries any more than he would “start” the Korean War should an upcoming, future President have to act with military force for some hypothetical reason, for purposes of this example and this post.
Can’t wait to see someone or ones come apart at the seams for the use of Korea, my having used it specifically to be a “flamboyant” example of my musings and cognitive meanderings.

And that would be a weak argument since they have had a nuclear program for decades

So then you would have to claim that Israel started the war I suppose.

Iran is about 10,000 Gaza's. Would cost 10 trillion to do the same damage there.

As long as the US keeps killing IRGC and Israel keeps exterminating Hamas, everything will be great.

I can’t say that because I’ve heard and factored in a more expanded range of factors and possibilities that disagree with your assessment, so I can’t straight faced say something I don’t believe to be true and accurate. A sampling of the aforementioned alternative scenarios include the relatively long and tattered history of relations between the two countries. I must admit that I wasn’t necessarily of proper age to understand what was going on during the Iranian hostage crisis. Note again, the IRANIAN hostage crises, and the period of crisis following for a while.
Then, as history tells, there were the horrific terror attacks around the area targeting America’s heroic and selfless warriors, Beirut etc, with unspeakable results. Obviously the direct connection to Iran and its in-house terror proxy armies was irrefutably established long ago.
Ahh yes then we move forward into the period of America’s war on terror period, throughout which Iran and more directly had a constant hand in once again targeting American personnel with oftentimes, again, unspeakable results. Or atrocities, let’s call them. Oh yeah, Soleimani was the orchestrator of the “program” mentioned hereinabove…..hence Trump terminating his gay, incestuous arse. They may have found an arm, two toes, a wing and a thigh, the rest was a pink cloud.
Anyhow, if that ain’t enough to chew on, perhaps to challenge your own dug in positions, then it wouldn’t or doesn’t make sense to do anything further.

No serious person thinks this war started because of the Iranian hostage crisis during the Carter administation.
The United States and Israel started this war by attacking Iran. You can listen to Lee Greenwood and tell yourself whatever comfortable delusions you want. It won't change the facts.

I’m pretty sure mine’s more plausible than Trump’s gone off and gotten us into a forever war.

I don't know that it will be a forever war. But he certainly got us into whatever this is.

But pussies like you will sky scream because our military did what was necessary to bring an adversary in line.
