I would have no problem LEGALLY increasing the penalties and LEGALLY keeping the under strict supervised release after their terms have been served. My PROBLEM is with EXTRA-JUDICIAL punishment. It is not consistent with the rule of law.
We are either a country of laws, or we are not. You oeople seem to be content with the "not."

And without that support, we should not be imposing additional punishments. AGAIN, it is not consistent with the rule of law.
