Is there an update on the two that were shot? I looked at the department twitter and didn’t see anything. Maybe I missed it.

Very likely.
As a test I measured the height of my sedan, at the top it is 4'10". Most sedans are about the same height.
This person is either very short for their age, or you're looking at a middle-schooler.
ETA: In a close up it looks more like a small SUV. SO has one which measures 5'5" at the top, I'm just a couple inches taller. So it again could be a short person or a middle-schooler.

Update. Both Deputies are resting and have been down graded from critical and are in ICU. The injuries are not life threatening but are verY serious. There is a $100,000 reward for the arrest of the suspect. The hospital is a virtual fort. There were clashes with protesters (just a few) last night at the hospital. They were yelling for the deputies to die. Fed’s are assisting in the investigation. Adam Schiff tried to offer support (frick him). The “Green Light” to kill any and all Law Enforcement is still in place. Not one word of support from any pro sports team ir athlete in Los Angeles. Maybe now people will understand why I just can’t watch or support them.

Went to CNN.com Mobile site to try and see if they reported on it. It’s about 6 pages down with a small headline. No one in the NFL or NBA seems to have acknowledged it. SMH

If Ca. was serious about slowing this crime down, they would have rounded up the "protesters" at the hospital, arrested them for hampering first responders. They could start making them pay for such inhumanity.
