Beto is even more of a fraud than Obama was. He has done nothing his entire life and the left drools over him being President.

I don’t think he’s as charismatic as Obama and won’t be able to take the heat of a Presidential campaign that lasts a year and a half.

The sad thing is it really is starting to look like the Clintons are dead. I was hoping Hillary would screw things up again but she is terribly unpopular and would get destroyed in the election.

Idlewatcher is 100% spot on.

Politics today, like it or not, is 45% presentation, 45% pandering to your base and/or creating catchy lines and 10% actual policymaking. This tends to happen when you have a 2 party monopoly.

One of the strongest arguments used against the current President was that he had no political experience and that many of his business properties were failures (his NFL team, Trump University, his Steak brand, etc.)

Texas is a great state. Best one in the South by a large margin. But it is not the United States. We shouldn't take him likely.

The problem most conservatives are going to have is that even with a 2nd term of Trump, there isnt anyone who can effectively replace him. All that's left are establishment types.
