What is an "impression", how is it measured?

I'm not sure if you've watched things on the internet, but before most clips, regardless of length, an ad usually pops up prior to the viewing.

Okay let’s say everything you said is true. Does that really matter? People going back to watch multiple times shows interest regardless, nobody is going to rewatch the debates in any meaningful capacity

What sources are you using to quantify "watchers"?

You guys want to go off of twitter metrics which doesn't quantify length of view, or anything other than clicking on the link.

Conversely, what measurable statistics for watching are you using for the debates? Streaming services? Cable? Twitter clicks? Clips?

It's not apples to apples, and it's not an intelligent argument. You are looking at "clicks" and tap dancing around like you won something. It's very strange.

Dude none of the younger generation is watching fox news.

There is a reason desantis is doing more podcats now.

Trump got the most real votes of any presidential candidate ever and you guys really dont think the most popular president ever and the most popular guy on cable would get views?

I don't doubt he got views. I don't think he got the "billions" you guys are claiming. It's just absurd to think that 181 million people actually watched the interview, or more than 10 minutes of the interview.

I'm sure it was a lot, but nowhere near the 200 million billion clicks it got.

I dont think you have to click play to count as an impression so it's even more misleading than you are saying. If you are scrolling through your feed and scroll past this post, you are an impression.

Bingo! And it doesn’t even need to be 181 million unique users.

Do some people curiously watching more than once is somehow a negative?

Maybe not Fox, but if they have an interest in politics, they are watching debates, regardless of source.

Have i doubted that new media is on the rise. That doesn't translate to 200 million clicks = 200 million people sat down and watched Trump. You know, as well as I, that the younger generation has about a 10 second attention span. That is about the length, on average of these views.

Do we have any measurable stats on average length per view, omitting any ads or popups?

I went to a website that calculates Twitter Impressions and Reach and I typed in the Tucker/Trump interview and it started calculating. A pop up dialogue box appeared and it said it would take an estimated 7 days to complete the calculation and I would have to pay $59.99 to continue.

181 million people saw Trump prove that he’s still living in 2016-2020.

The world has changed, the curtain has been drawn back, and he is still acting like he doesn’t get it.

Stop hoping for a politician to solve this. We need a miracle, and Trump is not that miracle.

Fox wasn't the only option for watching the debate.

The tweet got that many views. The video did not.

There’s no mor simple way to explain it than how it’s been explained in this thread. You just aren’t able to understand it at this point.

Oof that was a painful interaction to read through. I would've just given up if I were you.

You being dismissive because of the number of people in the uS as if it's the only place that it can be viewed. Keep on wondering how it happened.

assure you over half of the United States did not watch a 45 minute interview on Twitter ?

This is absolutely true. Filter out kids, those that have no interest in politics, etc. Even getting 40 million true views would be amazing.

Correct, but still requires engagement in some small way:

A video view is when your video is watched in 50% view for 2 seconds or more, or when someone clicks to expand/unmute your video.

We know how it happened. The Trumpfags seem to be the only ones who don’t know how it happened.
