The US should speak out against evil in the world. It doesn't mean we have to actually do anything.

Why?

If anything, that’s the UN’s job. The United States isn’t the morality police. We don’t hold the high ground.

Pragmatic foreign policy >>> preaching to the world and making enemies for the sole purpose of 20th Century nostalgia

Mahsa Samini was the girl who started this nearly three weeks ago. She was arrested by the morale police because a couple of locks of her hair were showing outside her headscarf and hijab. Hours later the 20 something year old died of a heart attack in police custody and they would not let the family see the body.

Then the protests started. The younger people are sick of the nonsense. They cant get many goods they want due to the embargo. The govt wastes what money they do have funding some nonsense nuclear program and terrorists throughout the region.

A good portion of the people are openly protesting now. A good portion more would if they werent so scared. The true supporters of the regime are in the minority. And the citizens are beating the snot out of the security forces instead of running this time around.

Last week there were protest marches in 150 cities throughout the world. This is a huge deal and it aint going away.

Dont judge the people by the leadership lest you be judged by yours in the US

Rule of thumb for Biden: if it's something good for American sovereignty, stability, security and prosperity, Biden will do the opposite. Take it to the bank.

You can’t change that country because the Muslim men there are ok with treating women like this. The only way to solve that issue would be to go in and kill all of the men in that nation!

No thanks. If they want freedom, they need to take it for themselves.

ETA: Us too.
