Well, if the non-Mexicans are camped out there for 3 years they'll develop a taste for tacos.

I can't fathom a scenario where they would be able to hold out that long. If they're from countries poorer than Mexico how are they going to survive in encampments like that for years with no job? Is Mexico going to provide humanitarian aid for all of these people?

This could be the one time Trump could actually use his tariff stances to produce something of value. Offer to have 0% tariffs with Mexico in exchange with their cooperation with the border and immigration issue.

Possibly. The Mexican government has allowed themselves to be in a very difficult situation. They have conceded too much power to the Cartels and if Trump would play hardball with Mexico forcing cooperation with us in any substantive way would result in massive retaliation by the Cartels within Mexico. That's not our problem, our problem is the ineffectivness of the Mexican government dealing with the Cartels and facilitating illegals to reach our border.

I agree. A month or two is possible but no way for 3 years with that many people. And then what if JD Vance wins. Are they gonna hold out for 7 years?

Seize illegals belongings when caught, tax remittance 75%

No one will want to come here anymore. Throw in the risk of CECOT - make sure to send some elderly, mothers etc there.

The consequences need to be so severe they leave on their own

They will be disappointed when Vance takes over for 8 years.

Or 11 years

Point is they can't hold out until even the end of the Trump term doing nothing.

Add another 8 years for JD. That takes us to the 2036 election. Dems likely win, again, unless we're successful in getting the Dem party abolished as enemies if the country.

All I can say is, Baron Trump will be eligible to run in the 2044 election, 19 years from now. The question is, will Donald still be alive to steer his son through the politics to get to The Presidency?

They aren't holding out even until the end of summer. It's hot as hell along that border - little to no shelter - meager food supply - restrooms? showers? clothing? basic necessities of clothing or hygiene?

Mexico isn't about to provide the luxury hotel accommodations like the US (NYC) did for them.

They wouldn't be waiting at the border if they were Mexicans.

I grew up in Texas. We have always had Mexicans moving back and forth across the border and it wasn't a big problem. The real problems began under NAFTA and they increased under the brown messiah. But what is going on now is different. This is an invasion, planned and executed, by foreign and domestic enemies of our country.

They will be waiting for at least 11 more years because JD Vance won't be allowing these freeloading pieces of shite in either
