That may be why the massive campaign over the last few years, from government, corporations , msm and schools...that demonize white people and basically generalize them as privileged, evil oppressors, while also promoting the idea that all black people are being oppressed and that white people are responsible for all bad things that happen to them.... was a bad idea.
It's easy to see how some individuals who are convinced they are being constantly oppressed would hate and become violent towards the people they believe are oppressing them. With how high black on white violence is, I can't just assume it's isolated incidents, and not part of a larger social dynamic at play.

You failed to answer the question "Why do you think it matters in 2026?"
If the family members who personally suffered during those bad times are still here, it matters to them.
What does that have to do with this 13 year old who was slashed on vacation?
