13 Baltimore city schools have 0 students proficient in math

For anyone that attended Baltimore public schools, zero means none.
Just give them space to destroy.
How can you have NONE? That is unexplainable in one class. But in a school? 13 of them?!?
Remind me what party has a death grip on Baltimore politics again?

I thought the DNC was big on education and helping families but in Baltimore you can't walk to your horrific school safely. It doesn't add up.

This is prevalent among many many urban school districts across the country. Its a culture problem, not a teacher, funding or curriculum problem. Until there is a change in culture in these communities regarding education, the more this will continue. Sad for America

ZERO students are proficient? This a failure so epic that everyone involved shares in the blame to some degree.

Jordan Peterson has some interesting things to say abut IQ and success. All the smart folks (rightly) do not send their kids to Baltimore Public Schools.

I guess I'm odd for expecting excellence from myself and those around me in every situation, but if I was a math teacher and didn't have at least one of my students who was grade level proficient at math at the end of a school year, I'd quit that job in shame.

Depending on the level of math, it may not even be possible.
