While always having a trashy reputation. I can remember as a kid and as a teenager, you could walk around Myrtle beach at night and not worry.. Now, I have no desire to ever leave the Murrels Inlet ,Garden City, Pawleys Island area when I’m down there…

North Myrtle Beech is about the same as Oakland California.
