in camp lejeune alone the titty clubs are what make millionaires. But the raise is well deserved especially for families. The AD military don't get COLA pay-raises like DC. I say DC gets pink slips.

I don't know personally but I have read it is not 10% and not the first in 10 years. Read it was 1.something each year and that this year it was 2.something. 2.3 maybe could be 2.5 or 6.

It is a 2.6% increase in base pay and also increases in other areas of compensation. That is true. What is not true is how it has been characterized by the media.
Trump said, in his usual boisterous way, that he wanted to get them 10% - further reports have indicated that he’s continuing to push for more - but the #fakenews is never one to miss an opportunity to bash Trump. So they took one line from his speech to the troops, out of context, and without any indication of inflection, and said that Trump “lied” to the troops.

Lol he legit said he got them their first raise in 10 years and that he got them a 10% raise. Two lies in one. Spin it all you want, but he wasn’t saying it as a future-tense plan. He said it as if it happened. You guys are nuts.

Private practice health care here, havent had insurance reimbursements increase in the last 10-12 years. United has actually cut reimbursements for our field by about 15%.
Not saying our brave men and women dont deserve a raise, just pissed at how this nation is being run. Its infuriating.
