In all my years in the military we only got 10% pay raises twice ... both times under Republicans.
We also got hazardous duty (jump pay) and combat pay doubled under Reagan.
Why any soldier, marine, Air Force or navy guys vote Democrat is beyond me but the navy guys, in particular, seem to lean left as a whole. Guess it has to do with their high LBGTQ enlistments.

Maybe....just maybe....there are plenty of servicemembers who don't just blindly vote GOP because they see military pay raise is one issue of millions.
We got great raises under W....also wore down military manpower and equipment overdeploying to a disastrous conflict in Iraq.

What universe do you live in? He cited all the “low” numbers (which as discussed was higher than their actual raise) they could have received had he not fought for them, then said he fought for 10%, and then immediately congratulated them on their large raise. No transition or other language to make it seem that this is a continued fight or that their current 2.6% was just an appetizer for the real thing. The immediate congratulations more than heavily implies that he got them 10% (which he didn’t actually get them).
Also nice job ignoring the other lies he told

When Trump was in Iraq he said that he was giving them a 10 percent raise and it was the first raise in ten years. You can look it up. He said that.
