May I ask?
What's your wife's occupation?
I might have some occupational information to share.
Clinical Manager. She’s an RN but manages a team of RNs, PTs, OTs, etc, that see the patients

Didn't the chief executive Catholic come out and encourage people to get vaccinated?

My wife is a visiting RN for home a large home health agency (assisted living facilities and patient’s homes) and has seen elderly patients that demonstratively espouse their anti-vaccine beliefs to her, going as far as demanding she take her mask off while she cares for and/or assesses them. It’s hard to tell if it’s conviction or them just wanting to be difficult / troublemakers, but she never obliges them and just goes on with her day. Being vaxxed, boosted, and wearing full PPE, they can throw feces around in their room and she’ll be fine.
Separately, I had a colleague who held similar religious convictions, except he was also convinced the vaccine was the mark of the beast. He passed away in September from COVID. 51 years old, healthy, and strong. I can’t help but wonder if he died with regret or was content leaving his family behind for whatever is on the other side.

Relatable to the topic in two ways - same type of business as the OP’s wife, and since it’s a religious exception, it’s a reminder that faith-based decisions have consequences outside of the mental gymnastics of resistance.

Wow. That completely changes everything.

If she likes doing medical costing research and report writing she might be a good fit for Life Care Planning. She'd have to complete 130 clock hours of training and pass the CLCP. Newbies start at $75 to $120 an hour as a subcontractor for another CLCP. Experienced average close to $300 per hour. Virtually all CLCP's are self-employed either as a sub or primary. Someone close to me is averaging 5k per month.

Decisions do have consequences but for those who make the decision to not take a shot, as long as they are good with the possibilities then good for them.
My kids are grown. My husband would play his guitar 24:7 if I wasn’t here. God will take me when he wants me — no one is getting out of here alive.
I could die in a car accident going to Target. My chances of dying of covid are way less.
I’m personally good with my decision and have the ability to change my mind in time if I decide.

Never happened, and if it did, frick them as well. But sorry, there’s no equivalency to this. Nobody is threatening her livelihood when she tells the patient “nah, I’m good”
But I see what your problem is here…you mad bout people having some Jesus in em and just wanted to throw a pot shot at them. Cause if you would be paying attention, you’d realize this thread ain’t about religion, it’s about finding a way around tyrants

They working 10 hours a week? That don’t math well lol. Idk if she’d be interested but at $120/hr, I’m interested for her.

Something to consider nonetheless. Good CLCP's make bank.

So what exactly is a CLCP? Lol. Research? Sounds like something that needs a masters/phd

I got mine approved also. Decided why even try and write a book. Wrote about 5 sentences stating putting foreign things in my body would lead me to a life of sin and eternal fire.
They aren’t going to lose human capital over arguing religious beliefs or expose themselves to court cases either.
Praise be to god.
