Start a home health company….that would be subject to the same bull shite mandate

If she had no federal contracts and less than 100 employees she may be able to contract herself directly with clients.

Food for thought.

Just received the first correspondence of any kind regarding the mandate. In short, it says “we suggest you get it but we’re not adhering to the vaccine mandate so it’s not mandatory to get the jab to be employed”. We’re a fortune 100 with 400,000+ employees. Rock on

No testing option for those in the medical field. But there are still medical and religious exemptions. Expect those to be fought hard for approval but at least give it a shot.

Unintended pun but I’m leaving it.

I don’t think so because they’re medical. I’m not really sure

If it's due to a medicare policy there should be a testing option. You might only be able to access it via medical/religious exemptions (which our email mentioned would be available), but there should be a testing option.

I also work for a large home health agency but don't interact with patients or other people in general. Will not comply will not quit.

Here's the trick - these are your sincere beliefs. In a religious context you can literally believe anything. I would not mention any specific religion and simply cite something like. "I believe putting things not from God in my body would be a sin against Him" and maybe followed by "If I do not follow my beliefs I risk going to hell to burn in eternal fire"

You don't need a leader. You don't need a specific religion. There has been SCOTUS cases about both those points in the past.

And when they question if I take other meds or treatments ..

Honestly I just don’t think I need it and I’ve definitely prayed about it and my hcp supports my decision.

I’ll actially retire if they force my hand. I already was given a 30 day notice in June and then it was rescinded 5 days later. And my boss who has the contract told them that if she couldn’t find vaccinated ck sultants she’d give up her big multi facility contract as well.

Kicker is my position is a required one by the state. will be interesting.

And if you have ever gotten a flu shot at work or had to submit vaccine records for work that will not fly at all. If she is in the medical field…chances all that is in her file. My friend works at a hospital that is heavily investigating all these bogus “religious exemptions” and thankfully are being very strict with it.

So no….that won’t work….as it shouldn’t. She is in the medical field. She should be mandated to get the vaccine, unless she has a true medical or religious reason not to. Hell..flu shot is mandated at my hospital and has been for several years. Don’t like it….get out the medical field

**UPDATE**: Filed a religious exemption yesterday (11/10), HR approved it today (11/11). Whole lotta stress relief in the schmelly house. All hope is not lost, boys and girls
She was gonna let them fire her or she was gonna get it and quit after she found a new job (because she’s 1 of 4 managers. 2 were quitting for sure and the other is incompetent. So she wasn’t staying to deal with that cluster but was getting ready to accept that her choice was jab or leave the medical industry)

1). Awesome

2). What did she write?

3). They rubber stamped it — GOOD.

4). Which hh company? I ask as I have a friend who works for LHC and submitted her exemption request.

I had to tell one of my employees, who was hospitalized with COVID-19 just two months ago, that she will be let go in January for not being vaccinated against a disease to which she is immune.

It is fricking retarded.
