" As a human being , I can't do that", worker quits over siblings being ripped apart

The audio is around seven minutes but it's an extraordinary story to listen to. I didn't realize these places are run on a private prison model. These kids are just $$$ to them. Do the absolute minimum and get those federal $$ grants.

Antar Davidson is no longer employed as a youth migrant shelter worker in Arizona.
Last week, he quit in protest over the Trump administration's move to separate immigrant parents from their children at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Davidson worked at a migrant shelter in Tuscon, one of several sites along the U.S. border taking in migrant children.
Last week, Davidson's manager instructed him to separate a group of Brazilian siblings. He was also told to get them to stop hugging each other. That, he says, was the moment he knew he had to leave his job.
They haven't seen their mother since May 29.
They're holding onto him for dear life and with tears streaming down their face. And I tell [the 16-year-old] "Bro, you have to be strong." He looks over to me with tears streaming down his face, and he says "How? Look at my siblings. Where's my mom? How can I be strong in a time like this?"
The shift leader came over very aggressively and told me, "Tell them they can't hug each other!" And I at that point told her, "No. As a human being, I can't do that."

Spare us your faux outrage. So friecking racist to use brown kids as a political pawn. You disgust me.

Did they ever tell you why the kids weren't allowed to hug?
Well, there's a general policy that minors are not allowed to touch each other. In the context of the business model of this organization, it makes plenty of sense.

I was wondering when you were going to show up with your faux emotional platitudes.

Take it up with their parents who put them in that situation.

I'm sure his family is happy about that. Another unemployed that he's soon going to be asking Trump for a monthly check from taxpayers.
Oh wait, he's probably being paid by Soros.
Oh wait, fake news story. Because if it's not, the guy basically told his family get used to being poor and he told the country get used to supporting me for being an idiot who doesn't believe in laws or this country but wants the country to support him.
No wonder he resigned, he sounds exactly like the philosophy and ethos of the illegals. Countries and laws don't matter.

What I find most striking and telling about that article is what is omitted.
It is standard practice in stories like this to include how long someone worked at their job before quitting or being fired......yet there is no mention of it. I wonder why?

I mean the article states it's standard policy to keep minors from touching one another. The whole thing is a giant WGAS?

It disgusts me that you're trying to play this off as these kids were separated from their parents. These were UNACCOMPANIED minors. They weren't with their parents.
The kids accompanied with their parents WERE NOT BEING TAKEN FROM THEM
From the article you're using as some kind of pathetic justification:
“ICE takes the responsibility of caring for Unaccompanied Alien Children seriously,” the statement says. “Unaccompanied minors are carefully kept in staging facilities away from the general population and minors are only held in ICE custody when accompanied by their parents in a facility designed to house familie

Makes even more sense as to why you wouldn't want them touching each other
I get your types are usually okay with it but normal folk tend to try to limit that sort of activity.

You sound super smart and educated. Not racist at all.
I've been arguing the law and filling the liberals in on how easy it is for these illegals to be reunited with their kids all day. If the parents would just stipulate to removal they would be reunited immediately. I mock the liberals for being so mentally weak that they are so easily manipulated.
Morons, like you, that use racial slurs and sputter sentence fragments are no better than the capacity crippled emotional liberals.

Yeah, rip their mother from them not telling them where she is. And then tell these terrified children they can't hug.
