energy density of fossil fuels, on demand generation, and the transportation efficiency means you’re wrong. We have 200 years worth of natural gas. 200 years. That’s not changing.

Even though 200 years worth is not a lot in the grand scheme, where did I say they were near depletion? I didn’t.

I’m speaking of political, societal, and technology pressures leading to the transition. It’s happening now and will accelerate with each passing year. I want to make sure people are trained and prepared in terms of employment. Not sure why you take issue with that.

Tulsi Gabbard owned the debate and all CNN and the idiot Liberal media are talking about are Harris and Biden.

Why did we quit using sail boats for primary transportation and shipping? We never ran out of wind.

Cleaner, more effective (or just as effective) sources will be developed, and it will be much sooner than 200 years.

What the frick does that have to do with gutting our energy industry now?

shite, I don't know that I believe the 200 years. We will also continue to improve methods for extracting fossil fuels. I remember being told we would run out of it 10 years ago. 30 years!...in 1980

Oh, we have to get ready NOW for 200 years from now! we we can't plan anything else out farther than 6 months

Ohh I 100% agree and it will be Exxon, Shell, chevron leading the charge. They are all spending so much in R&D behind the scenes for alternative energy sources.

With the way Europe is forcefully mandating certain things as it pertains to fossil fuels and clean energy I would say 50 yrs in the US. However there will still be plenty of companies drilling because the chemical downstream sector which makes our plastics and polymers etc that will be going on for quite a while. I don’t see wind and solar picking up the downstream section anytime soon in my lifetime. Cars, vehicles, transportation yes but actual products, No.

Yeah.

Get back to me when you can make a car tire out of wind.

Guess we can go back to harvesting natural rubber. Yeah...that was an environmentally friendly exercise and it certainly didn't lead to any international conflicts.

It’s becoming more and more evident that Biden did nothing for 8 years as VP and is very out of touch with the libtard clowncircus that is the current democrat party.

He’s an old man trying to play a young man’s game at this point. Maybe be can skirt through but he will never beat Trump

This question is for all the mentally disabled progressives running for president. If you hate the idea of corporations making money so much explain to me how you are going to get the tax revenues you are going to need to pay for all this free health care, free medicare, and free college you are proposing. Without profits you have no upper class to pay taxes. Without an upper class to hire the middle class to work for them there is no middle class to pay taxes. How do you get revenue for the government if no one makes any money?

I didn't say anything about gutting the industry. I'm pointing out that the use or viability of a thing isn't dependent on the supply of the thing. In other words, we're not going to wait until we run out of oil and gas to find a replacement.

The thing that concerns me is the change in rhetoric in just a few years.
The talk of single payer healthcare used to be extreme nonsense but it’s now commonly discussed. The pendulum has swung bigtime toward a favorable opinion of a single payer healthcare system.

If anyone thinks that we can avoid enacting single payer within the next 10 -15 years, they’re naive imo. And that’s scary

Supply is only one reason it's not changing. Convenient you ignored the other points because you're not smart enough to address them.
