2003.
They were supposed to release a new Titan a few years ago essentially as a rebadged Ram, but that fell through so Nissan had to start from scratch.

It's overkill for a half ton.
The fuel mileage should be pretty excellent towing and unloaded though and it will pull like hell if they geared it right.
