Weird Cultural Memes Thread

so i was listening to a podcast about the "satanic panic" and they were discussing anecdotes about their lives in the 80s. one was discussing the popular meme of the place in the woods where the Satanists did their thing
so it got me thinking of another podcast where guys were discussing finding porno mags in the woods
i distinctly remember both of these memes as a kid (never found Satanists and only heard that other guys found porno mags). i didn't grow up near the guys doing the podcasts and there is an age gap (i'm in the middle), but we all had the same experiences/stories. and we all did it pre-internet. it's really fascinating to me that these things occurred like this.
what are some other memes that you can think of?

We found pornos hidden in the trunk of a tree on the trail from our neighborhood to the 7-11. Must've been someone buying mags at the store, then fapping under that tree that was only 20' from Flannery Road. Good times......

I don't recall much about the actual Satanist Panic from my childhood, but definitely looked at porn in the woods. We didn't find it out there, but one of us brought it.

Late 70's I went spent a night with a buddy. They lived in a big house out in Central with woods out behind. I remember he took me to a treehouse his older brother in high school built and it was stocked with dirty magazines, and pics all over the walls. They weren't Satanists, they were Catholics.

My dad hid his porn tapes from my mom... In his 13 year old son's closet. I found them 2 years before he found out I did.

The guy's dad was an actuarial. Back then, they were the only family I knew that had a computer at their house. I think it was an IBM. It was the size of a cabinet, huge, and had a small black and white screen. All in one. There was one game I remember playing, bowling. The pins were dots, and the bowling ball was a dot and moved across the screen. You pressed a button when it lined up and it hit the pins and determined how many you knocked down. Thinking back, it was so damn simple, but we couldn't get enough of it. The also had a maid.
