saw that on twitter earlier. Not surprising if true.

Well if anyone watches The First 48, New Orleans made its debut Friday night and there was a teen in the interrogation room with a Karr shirt on. Maybe it's him

Well, how's that work? If he's on house arrest with the ankle bracelet, he's obviously not at his house if he's out playing football, so did he get a freebie or something?

Is that the only player they had with an ankle bracelet? That would be more of a shock.

Do they shuttle them from jail to the games?

Their website says 98% graduation rate. That's pretty impressive if true.

You don't need to be on house arrest to wear an ankle monitor. Kid could be on probation for simple possession or something and his PO has probable cause to slap it on him. Or he could just have a curfew built into his probation and that's how the PO monitors it. Still not good news for a HS kid but geez you guys act like they let him out of OPP just to play in the game.

quote:yep, he is a good kid - just a slight snafu, so monitor being used.

Karr isn't a terrible school. It's in a decent area too, not in the ghetto like OPW.

Karr use to be a magnet school, still easily a top 5 public school in New Orleans. One of their coaches told me this week that an OK State commit has been suspened three times over the last 2 years for drugs.

It's not unique. During a pregame conference several years ago the HC told us one of his players was wearing an ankle monitor but it was taped up.
After we left the dressing room the U said...if it falls off during the game, does a SWAT team show up?
