Sad but true.
It becomes ignorant when the students disrespect the actual players request. Not to mention the way it looks to recruits. Hopefully enough students will enjoy the interaction and craziness that comes with those songs and like reeling in big recruits over acting like high school freshman.

If the student section resorts to childish chants, the rest of Tiger Stadium (you know the real fans that pay money, TAF fees, parking fees, chairback fees, etc) should boo them

I'll be part of the boos when I hear it. That being said, I won't have a family with me and I'll be heavily intoxicated I just like the songs and the life it brings to tiger stadium.

I think they will. Most of the students I sit around at games don't curse every other word which makes them sound like retards.
The problem, is that even if the majority keep it clean, the Greek section probably won't. Some will but I don't think most will.

Dude I was a student in the greek section when STTD was started. In no way did it start there or is it a problem specific to the greek section. It's so pathetic that people say this kind of shite.

I personally don't care for any of it, however, I seriously think most of you are giving way too much credit to a bunch of fricked up glorified teenagers.
Some will stop saying it...until they succumb to peer pressure and it's back in full force the 2nd time they play it.

That's fricking bullshite. Most of the greek section is gone by the time STTDB is chanted. The chant didn't even start in the greek sections.
