original ps3 believers sign in here

this counts out all you 360 fan boy converts 
im sure this has been discussed in depth on this board but seeing as im new here...
ps2 was my first gaming system. and when the ps3/360 came out i had to decide between switching to microsoft or continue with playstation. well i went with the less popular ps3 because i liked the outlook of playstation more than microsoft, and still do. then proceeded to catch all kind of hell from the 360 faithful. how the playstions time had come and gone. how the HDdvd was the way of the future and this blueray thing was just a fad
how the 360 was gonna steal all of the playstaion exclusives. and how the free multiplayer with the ps3 was gonna be crap because anything that was good had to cost.
ps3 > 360.
needless to say it feels good to be proven right. and that i made the right decision on which console to buy. comments like these are just icing on the cake

I started with N64 but my PS3 has been my baby for 7 years now. Bluray is amazing and I have never had a problem with any games.

I bought a good PS3 for cheap off a friend. I don't use it much since I buy all multiplatform games on Xbox. But I still like it for when an The Last of Us type game comes out.

eh no. never had a use for gaming till a couple/three years after the ps2 was released. decided to buy it to see what all the fuss was a about, havnt looked back. fwiw 25yo
