pretty much explains why Sony could be the best company as far as gaming. if you're gonna argue about this video and my opinion, at least watch the entire thing before commenting.

as far as i know, the dvr is only available in japan.
eta: with an xbox, you don't even need cable. they just keep adding and adding apps for different channels and what not. they even have fricking facebook and twitter. none of that has anything to do with gaming. that's what sony focus' on. gaming at it's core.

Sony will do whatever it has to do to sell consoles. That will likely mean keeping up with integration apps on the PS3 and beyond, so the argument that they solely focus on gaming is a little fallacious.

when i see an espn app or ufc or hbo, then i'll be impressed. netflix, hulu, and amazon isn't very astonishing seeing as to how they are on every internet ready dvd/bluray player. nfl sunday ticket is pretty cool, but i could give two fricks about the nfl.

i really don't have a problem with it. i really like to think that it's the game and it's developers that are the real culprit. i experience the same amount of lag on both consoles, that is, when i had both.

N64 was my first gaming system, then I got a ps2. BUT then I got a 360, and now (one of the quotes he used is me) I want a ps3. I'll prolly play both off and on, because I also have a decent PC. Which I still say PC> Ps3 & 360
