They were probably the greatest DE duo in SEC history. Anyone else thinking that Big Sam and Mingo may be as good or better this year?

I hadn't thought about it, but if they're half as good as those two, I'll come on myself.

I think people are pumping Sam and Mingo too much. They're good but they aren't on the field the whole game and they are undersized. Keeping them fresh aids them in getting around or through bigger guys.

John copeland arse raped my buddy.......Mawae arse raped Curry all in one night.

Seriously, Mingo and Sam have the potential to do it this year, but do NOT have that body of work yet.

Trindon and Alem. The two greatest DE in SEC history who never played together.

Case closed.

Sure do, it doesn't help that LSU doesn't have a great reputation when it comes to DL draftees panning out in the NFL and I would also be surprised if both are playing DE in the NFL.

There's been a lot of good defensive linemen come through LSU in the last 20 years, people are getting ahead of themselves anointing Sam and Mingo as gods, why can't they just be the next in line?
