Just decided on sushi rolls from Ronins in Laplace and a 12pk of BL on the back porch.

What kinda roux in that étouffée?

I'm doing homemade pizzas on the green egg. I have the dough made and rising. Pesto, tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms, proscuitto and eggs among other things await.

I have a few good Mollydooker and a couple Swanson wines picked out.

And I think the Tigers are going to crush them.

Chicken, sausage and dove breast jambalaya. Might suck, we'll see. The Charter will be money.

Shrimp and pasta with a cream sauce, salad and garlic cheesy bread. Quick, easy and delicious so I can be done cooking before the game starts!

Carne Asada
Guac and chips

Don't know if I'm going to do anything else. Maybe if I had some experience making a good Mexican rice I'd do that as well.

you have a good recipe for carne asada marinade? Google returns so many different recipes, it's hard to figure out which one to use. Some say "traditional" some say "real" or "authentic".

I'm doing a stir fry. Chicken breasts, sliced thin. Sugar snap beans, shitake mushrooms, red bell peppers. Even mix of sweet n sour sauce and Thai sauce. Served over steamed rice.
