It's not like they are changing the movie. It's just 3d. Theyve been working on it for years so it's not just thrown together

Im definitely going to check it out. The only way this is bad is if the 3D is bad. Which I highly doubt.

1) One is a movie, the other is a TV show.
2) Disney sold out by putting so many celebrity voices in Lion King after they had success with Robin Williams in Aladdin. If they would have went to real voice actors, it would have been better.

They aren't altering it.
Hollywood has been doing this with movies for years. First time I ever saw Gone With the Wind was during a 50th anniversary rerelease in 89.

That's fricking nonsense. Lion King is my #1 all-time animated movie, and I will likely see this at least once in theaters. And not even because of the 3D, since I don't really think it'll enhance it all that much. Mainly just to see LK in a theater again since I haven't since 94.
