I bought one over the summer and will be trying it out come November.

It's fast, flat, and hits like a ton of bricks.

I'm not a deer hunter and have only shot one deer with it. It was a 300+yd shot and dropped the deer in it's tracks. Plus it is said to be Roy Weatherby's favorite cartridge.

I want to hear more about the Meopta scope

i laid it side by side with my nikon monarch 3x12-42 at dusk a few nights ago and the Meopta blew it out the water.

looking through both scopes at a 50 yard target, i was able to keep the Meopta on 8 power (with great clarity) and had the Nikon on 4 power (with fair clarity)

30 06

My deer rifle caliber is the same as my hog rifle which both are for most people.

Plus, when Zombies hit the US it will be easy for me to find ammo b/c the 30 06 is so popular.

Oh contrare, yeah they do. Hit em in the gut with your 7wsm or anything else and they'll run, cept a 15 pound bowling ball at 3200fps.

You gotta pick one. NO either or shite. IF you like them equally then which on do you use the most? If you use them the same amount then flip a freakin coin.
