Y’all ever seen a chinquapin like this?

I have not. Really pretty fish. I thought I was pulling up a black white sacacrappie at first. Caught at Lake Bruin yesterday

The ones I caught at my friend's farm pond in GA in the 80's looked alot like this. Of course we called them shell cracker.

There were zero crappie/sacs in the pond.

Used to catch them on False river like that. That was 25-30 years ago.

The ones I used to catch in Iatt lake were all kinds of colors, big and would fight harder than any bass.

The ones I catch here in central Arkansas are not as dark. Beautiful fish.

The ones we catch look like those in your first picture. Your second picture is a crappie, right? It doesn’t have an ear, much less a
red ear like a chink.
