Don't evah get on a Bayliss, Weaver, Viking, Merritt, Jarrett Bay then My 23V would be the catsazz down there with or with the wood. Frontier had a drainage issue on the first ones that has been fixed with a sump. My next expenditure will be adding a walk around gunnel. Will keep a look out here in the west for your frontier.

Pathfinder builds a great boat but theyll be asking too much for it almost all the time. They've always been a high end pricey hull.

There's a reason. Build quality on these and materials used are second to none. Look at same year hulls and PF is almost always in better shape if maintenance and attention to upkeep is same. What's your price range? There's a 24 w/ 225 4stroke for $24,700 in BSL, Ms.

I'd also throw in Triton Seaflight 22 as a possible hull that may fit your criteria

Yep, it's there. They're fantastic boats no doubt. You can get the performance and build quality minus the refinement with a KEN vin# Kenner though. OP dont sound like hes looking to spend money on niceties.

Loved the 24', but what I wanted at the time was a full transom and mount a transom outrig to mount the motor on. Said he couldn't do it. Would of been a great boat to run offshore to close rigs.

It is a great boat to run out to the rigs. I have a 23 V too. Wonder why he wouldn't do it??? Several here in LC area redid them with full transom and porta brackets like Kemosabe said. Its on the list to do to mine....one day.

To the OP, I'd buy a Kenner or Frontier any day.

PF hold there value because they cost more, yes they are a quality boat but lesser boats catch as many or more fish. It's the Indian not the arrow regards.
Good luck on the search.

Why? The value is in the rolled gunnel boats.

If you want to blow money get a bass boat
