Out on the lake. 34 knows some back woods holes. Still waiting on him to turn me on.

funny part is the ones in there before the time are bitching about you coming in late when you followed the rules...everybody is afraid someone will set up in "their" spot or to close to "their" spot...

best way to avoid the rush at PRWMA is to have your permit already filled out(just carry your receipt) and throw the other part away or slip it in at the same time as your check out slip...

launch somewhere near the rigolets ;-) early and sneak in by boat before the others can launch off of highway 90...there is usually about a hundred vehicles that you'll see parked at those launches...

the place is scary crowded...I won't go there again...reason I tried it was I got tired of the long drives towing a boat...

...or sleep in, have a nice breakfast and show up around 11am. Everybody will be gone and you'll have your pick of the pine tree fortress litter. Kill a few limits between 11:30-2pm...be home for an early gumbo supper. We used to kill a lot of mid day birds at the cat.

Back when I was at LSU and we used to kill good birds in the prairie at manchac we always left the launch bf 4am and passed right by the warden office. Had a 7.5 eska that we'd run down the main bayou...then we'd drop the 36lb thrust trolling motor in the water to navigate the stump infested cuts back to the prairie. Hell, most if the time we would leave straight from Sports/Fred's/Varsity and pick the boat/gear up and keep rolling. Man, those were some good times.

We came straight from Madigans or F&M's...straight to the paraie. Jeezuz, if those guys gave us breathalyzers back then, I wouldn't be where I am today.

You should go to Stock Landing or French Fork on Catahoula Lake and watch the 12 ring circus/clusterf*ck of airboats, go-devil boats, 4 wheelers and walking coonasses all heading into the lake in the dark.

man, that is the damn truth...it is a fricking amazing sight...it is a wonder there aren't a half dozen murders on that lake every winter...

Yeah, I saw that. Didn't know he got swamped, though. Thought he was taking on a lot of water.
