Why is ammo so short?

It’s worse than last year. Can’t even find shotgun shells hardly anywhere.
I’ve tried over 15 stores looking for 7mm-08 and nobody has any. This shite is ridiculous

Opening day of dove is less than a month away. Bad time to be looking for shells. I got mine last Spring when all the turkey shot was sold out but the 7.5's were plentiful.

I do know a ranch manager where I hunted one time said he used to use those turds eating the fish in his tanks to sight in his varmint rifles. Said a .220 Swift would turn them into a cloud of feathers. I liked him.

There are tons of shotgun shells out there. Just ordered and got a case of rios high velocity for $115
