Weird but great day. 4 keepers at the first spot on top water, 34 keepers at the second, 3 keepers at the next 12, then 37 at the last. Finished with trout at about 1 and sightfished the rest of our redfish.

34 specks and 10 white trout this morning been a while since I had a good trip. Fog was awful till at least 8:30 lots of throwbacks but a few nice fish mixed in. Great time with an old friend it doesn’t get much better.

Dozen or so trout, all the whites you wanted. Rattle shrimp under cork and baby bull minnow. Probably should have been chunking a topwater. Saw a few ducks even with all the fog.

My son got his first two trout in Topwater this Morning. Both undersides though.

Me and ClassicGold froze our asses off for a handful of trout yesterday. That front seemed to make them not cooperate.

Yeah, probably would have had the same problem. But I would have been fun. Wife’s happy, so all good.

Ended up with 23 fish. Caught several over 20 inches. Lost some really nice fish right at the boat.

Caught 20 keeper specs, had to weed through the schoolies to get some keepers. On a side note, there must have been a boat accident in St. Bernard as I saw ems, fire, sherif boat, and 2 wlf agents with boats in tow and lights on screaming down the road on the way out around 1:00pm.

In pecan island? I was gonna catch big trout, but they are endangered so I focused on the Larry Flynt kind.

Fished Biloxi Marsh and had about 30 specks/whites, 8 big sheepshead and 1 red on Saturday. Was windy as all get out and even got rained on a bit. My 6yo caught the two biggest fish of the day, including the biggest sheepshead I've ever seen and it just about pulled him over the bow.

Took family on a long boat ride that crisscrossed Lake Borgne Saturday, just FYI saw seagulls picking in big groups most everywhere we went so presume there were trout under at least some of those. Didn't make a cast. Northwest side of Borgne from Alligator to Rigolets and then also off Proctors point. If winds are down just go take a ride, water was pretty everywhere.

PS Also jumped a few wads of dosgris out on Lake B too

No son. I was working all day on blinds in PI on Saturday. Did more work to get to Dulac and did more work Sunday fighting wind and wave to fish the islands.
