The thing with the southern part of the state is we have everything. We don't have the biggest deer, but we do have plenty and I see a few good ones killed every year. We have saltwater fishing and freshwater fishing. Duck hunting is solid too.

Capt ST, I like your style. I moved 30 min north, but grew up near PAC.

I'm not in LA but I honestly love living in Memphis.
Turkey hunting in West TN/North MS is outstanding
Deer hunting in West TN/North MS is outstanding
Fishing - 3 hr drive to some of the bet trout fishing in the world (cold water not speckled trout). 1 Hr drive to Sardis Lake for bass, 1.5 hr drive to TN river for catfish, SMB, LMB, crappie, etc. 6hrs to coast for saltwater, local ponds for
wetting a line
Duck - Some of the best hunting in the world is within 1-2 hr drive (MS delta, AR delta)
Elk - yep elk in AR and east TN if you're so inclined.
Dove - pretty dang good dove hunting
Quail - nope, none that.
I do enjoy living here.

I'll post this one. If I posted the rest people would hunt me down and break my knees.

I duck hunted in Weiner, AR this year. Just another example of why the MS River delta is amazing everywhere

Good thing I didn't post the one of all the big ones laying all over the deck.
