I dont really have a favorite. Like Alx, they're tools to be used. I guess if I had to choose a favorite it would be the Belgium Browning sweet 16 that my dad gave me. It's beat all to hell, most of the gold on the trigger is gone, it has seen the bottom of Cross Lake, but it's all those stories that make it cool to me.

That question is a bit tricky... My favorite go to gun or my prized possession are 2 different guns.
My favorite is on older 870 wingmaster in 16 gauge. Use it for dove, rabbit, squirrel. Just a great shooting lil gun.
My prized possession is an old 870 Wingmaster from my dad after he died. I grew up knee high to him in a duck blind and that was the gun i remember staring at since it was always eye level to me.

It would be the one my dad gave me on my first squirrel hunt when i has 8. I shot 6 squirrels that morning and missed 2.

I dont get this. I have favorite guns. Yes they are tools for a job but that dont mean I cant have a favorite one. I also just like guns so they are a little more than tools to me.
With that being said. I dont really have A favorite. I have several and would hate to have to pick between them. But would pick at the time of the job and which I would like to use the most.

What I mean, and Alx may mean something different, is that I have a preference for certain guns but could probably part with any of them for the right price.

Only guns I treasure are my dads. Got his first shotgun he got in the fifties when he was 12. Will never part with his. The ones I acquired I would part with.

Browning A5 auto I bought in 1962. Me and that gun have been through a lot. It shows a lot of wear but still shoots perfect. that's 50 years.
