Well I Farm raise channel catfish on 1,000 acres with a hatchery so I’m biased on this one

Hard to beat a small catfish fried whole.

I've eaten my fair share of Gafftops and ain't noth un NY wrong with them other than the slime they leave behind.

I didn’t know people ate those. I caught a bunch of those fishing with my kids at Indian creek. I threw them all back, I just assumed it was like a pollywog or something.

I don't think so. There's no meat left on the skin when I filet them off the backbone first. I've been doing this for over 50 years and you could read a newspaper through the backbone when I'm done cleaning cats.

We fish in Simmesport. Chaf and Sip

Over the years, some of my best trips have been when river was high.

Chaf mostly. Sometimes Red.
