I would just get one of each. But the wife might be pissed if I dropped $10,000 on 3 pistols. She does want a Desert Eagle .44 mag for her "hog gun", so maybe I can work out a deal.

If I satisfied all my wants, I'd definately be on the FBI watch list. If I'm not already?

Never seen a double stack Wilson before. That's pretty interesting.

A round from a 1911 is the last thing the "enemy" ever saw for over 100 goddamn years of combat history and counting.

The Wilson Spec Ops is only available in 9mm if I recall correctly.

Ive got a Kimber. To me its a nostalgia thing. The slim width the good looks the history,John Browning 2 world wars,Korea ,Vietnam. But to tell the truth if I had to carry one every day as a duty piece,Id go with something else ,more modern designs are easier to clean, and maybe a little more dependable. I really wouldn't like to carry a pistol cocked and locked just because I don't like to see the hammer back. But they are very safe with a side safety and a grip safety. But since I don't have to carry one every day I wouldn't trade my 1911 for anything, Ive had some modern guns that wernt up to par also, had a baretta that was a piece of shite.1911 s just feel great in the hand and knock out beautiful.Got to add that nothing has a trigger as sweet as a 1911. 100 year old design that still is perfection, just hold one ,shoot , you will fall in love. The .45 is the all American caliber also
As far as modifications all Ive ever done is switch to Wilson Combat mags ,and just last week had the feed ramp polished, didn't have to, but you just want to do things for the gun you plan to own the rest of your life. You do have to break them in, but that's part of the fun..

Kinda like this?

That's a BUL M-5, 14 round double stack mags. Aren't near as pricey as my XDM mags.

Paging Bushmaster.

He can tell you if 1911's are combat effective.
