2001. The feller says it needs a new choke cable, brake cable, and starter. It apparently runs well with the rope pull start. If there were no further issues, what is it worth?

That feller should just give it away.

I gave away my 2001 Kodak that’s still ran last year.

I was thinking of offering 300

I’d say that’s fair.

The seller said it also needs the carbs cleaned. Not touching it.

Looks clean except for the ripped seat. Bought a 2004 model a few years back for $350. Only thing wrong with it was needed a new battery. The $600 he's asking is probably double what it is worth with those issues.

He said the lowest he would go is 500. I'll wait a week or so and if it's still around contact him again. It looks like a younger guy who is selling it.

ETA: they have a 1994 model in Moreauville for 450 but that is a bit further than I want to drive.

I saw a Honda foreman 300 for sale for 750 not long ago with similar and maybe less problems. I wouldn't pay 500 for it.

About 400 is the highest I want to pay right now. Will mostly be using it to take the trash out or run the dogs. Maybe load a deer or pig up on it.

Snagged a 1994 for 300 bucks this morning. Seems to be in good shape other than the muffler gone and choke cable broken. It still has all of the stickers on it and is hardley faded.

starter.

Just a heads up on this. There are some pins inside the motor that the starter engages to. Weak battery will shear them off. Been there, done that and fixed it.

Over all, great bikes.
