I recently had weight loss surgery & I have dropped 110 lbs so far. Needless to say I have a bunch of lightly used camo that no longer fits. Any suggestions as what I should do with it? I was thinking just catalog it all and stick it all on ebay as 1 big lot. The vast majority of it is 3XL. A ton of game winner stuff but I have a brand new max 4 frogg togg suit and a 3xl drake waterfowl jacket in the pile. It's literally 4 trash bags full of perfectly good stuff. I just can't stomach throwing it all away...

Congrats to a healthier life!
Buddy was xxxxl and is 34w after surgery, he still has his fat clothes though. eBay would work

I have 12 trash bags of cloths that are going there. But this may be what I end up doing. It's easily over $1,000 worth of camo...

Congrats on the weight loss.

I am in the middle of a low carb diet. Want to lose 30-40 lbs.

Glad that you will help someone else with the camo

With the standard deduction being doubled, very few people will still be itemizing so therefore no deduction, still a great deed and someone will enjoy picking up a drake jacket at the Salvation Army

Glad you're doing well. I know many who've had some type of weight loss surgery, most do well but I know two ladies that have never been the same. I'm sure it's improved since the late 90s though.

I would catalog luke you said, except put it on Facebook instead of eBay. Much easier and you'll probably get the same money.

Sell the frog toggs and drake gear seperately

Yeah there is no financial benefit to such donations anymore. Unless you have an arse load of deductions. (Might be the case after such a surgery)

Its still a great thing into do obviously, goodwill gets a lot if my items. But I haven't even been keeping up with it this year

my medical deductions this year are around 14k. I was really just trying to help someone out with the camo. Most of this stuff is next to new.

Someone should start a Louisiana camp swap and trade group for hunting gear on Facebook. I would think kids clothing would be the most items listed

Ha, had surgery a few months ago and I am in the same boat, my father in law is a little smaller than me prior to surgery so will be giving everything to him after this season.
