Dirty, stinky and riddled with sores.

The outside yes, the inside no if you don't put your bullet in the guts.

Um, yall's pigs got some problems? the only sores I ever find are when they have been shot previously with poor bullet placement.

I'd have to say yes to that one.

Why all the hate for cleaning squirrels? I would much rather clean a limit of squirrels than plucking a duck. Y'all must be doing it the wrong way. Most people try to use to large a knife when cleaning squirrels.

Fleas and ticks all over them, usually covered in mud and stink like hell.

Whith pig laying on ground slit right down the spine and pull the skin down in either direction. The ticks are usually on the belly and the mud is on the skin both of which are out of the way after opening them from the back.

BTW I don't enter the abdominal cavity unless I am keeping the entire pig which is rare.

Hate to clean tree rats, if my Father in Law didn't love them I wouldn't shoot another one.

Equipment is a tie between a huge pile of traps and my fur processing equipment. By the end of the year my fleshing beam has enough embedded beaver fat that I'm pretty sure it will be waterproof for the next 100 years.

I don't get it either. If you have two people that know what they are doing, you can skin two limits of squirrels in a few minutes.

I would hate to know how many squirrels I have cleaned over the years, even though I am still not deemed qualified to hold the knife.

I dont mind plucking ducks bc before me and dad, well before my dad had enough money to pay for them we cleaned them together so it was our deal. They arent that bad if there arent any pinfeathers.

1.) Ice chest full of 25-27 inch redfish
2.) Gar
3.) A big mess of rabbits

1) TLD Stars after my yearly long range trip
2) 24 rockfish after me and little DC catch our limit
3) my boat after the redwood fronds and cones find their way up under my boat cover and into the scupper holes

I like doing it when it's at the camp with your buddies drinking an adult beverage but doing that shite solo sucks.

In high school and college I was fortunate enough to hunt at a very very large place where a ton of game (think 75-100 deer, limits of ducks every weekend, hogs, squirrels, rabbits, piles of fish) were killed/caught. I could do whatever I wanted on the property, as long as I cleaned everyone's critters. Rather than make it like a job, I chose to treat it like a hobby. I don't mind doing it alone, and honestly get upset watching other people make poor cuts on meat. I'd rather do it alone, or just have someone along to hand me beer and gut buckets as-needed.

I hate cleaning a boat. Grew up freshwater fishing and never cleaned a boat. Now I have a white fiberglass bay boat covered in live bait guts and trout slime.

Your Chessie smell more than, say, a lab?

Mine doesn't stink, but his "dog" smell is just worse. Like him in the house/truck but sometimes....
