What kind of deer is this?

Here’s a pic of a deer out here, and several of us including the game warden are debating what it is.
What do you think? Just a young white tail, axis, fallow, hybrid?

Xenia Ohio. Warden thinks it’s a fallow or cross due to a fellow owning some fallow near there. But the owner says all his deer are accounted for.
Here’s the only other pic I have of it.

It's just a whitetail
Might have a touch of piebald or something but I doubt it's a cross

Looks like a piebald deer.I would check with biologist but I don’t think white tails cross with axis or fallow deer.

My son killed a deer very similar to this but much more white several years ago. There is no high fence even remotely close to our area. We never did figure it out, but a very cool looking buck

that's your basic brown deer with spots of unknown origin; not sure if that's the scientific name

Just kill it already so it doesn't further drop genetics if herd.....

Whitetail with genetic mutation where it never lost its fawn spots.

Seems like a pretty dang big body for a crappy rack like that. Seems just as big as the older buck next to it? Fairly rare to see a big spike like that in the Midwest unlike the south. Not completely uncommon, just more rare.

There are some huge deer near there, but I just couldn’t see that being this year’s deer. I don’t hunt where he’s been seen, but I’m sure someone will take him out.

Put me down in the same camp. It’s a whitetail that never quite shed his spots.

I'd guess whitetail with genetic issues. I'd also guess there's some sex mutation as well, we've seen similar when the deer has some genital cross/weird stuff going on. Had a doe with antlers and a penis (albeit tiny and under formed) but no testies with velvet antlers in late December.
