I have a super black eagle 3 and m2 2o gauge, looking for some nice chokes. I have never purchased after market chokes. Are they worth it and what do y’all like?

I shoot an A5 with a kicks high flyer full choke and never take it out. Once I learned how to aim smaller I can really reach out there.

Factory.

I used to shoot a pattern master for buckshot. Federal flite control has made that obsolete, and it never was all that great for steel or trap/sporting Clay's. It was too tight although I did kill a mountain of shite with it.

Now I'm a firm believer that aftermarket chokes are a waste outside of specialized uses like buckshot or rifled chokes

I disagree with your statement, seen PM chokes shred ducks and geese at impressive distances more than once. Factory chokes tend to have holes in there patterns. Shoot a PM extend range in SBE I and have for 17 years. Buddy next to me in Lubbock killed a greater stone dead at 94 paces (guide stepped it off) extended PM and bismuth 2's. Cripples don't stand a chance with that choke on the water if their head is up. If i hunted more would replace with the close PM like son has.

Carlson's LR, MR, CR in Browning Maxus. Anything's better than the Browning factory chokes. Not saying Briley or Patternmaster are better or worse, just havent tried them. Started with Carlson's, patterned them with Kents, liked the combo enough and been happy for 5 yrs now.

yep^^^ Browning Invector+ were way lopsided and I didnt want to learn how to lead one way with my duck gun and do it differently with my clays gun (Crio chokes).

Patternmaster or the factory Berreta chokes. Depends on location/game.

pheasants
- You should never miss a pheasant regardless of the choke.

ducks
- i shoot them on the water, so I'll defer to others on advice here.

sporting clays, skeet, trap? you're gonna need different chokes.

I used a Carlson’s ported long range in Canada a few weeks ago on ducks and liked it so much I ordered one on the way home.
