Got my pops one of the customized Benchmade Griptilians for Chrimmus. He seems to be happy with it. I've had a Benchmade auto-opener for about 6 years that has been a great knife. Also had a Gerber for about 10 years or so now that has been around the world with me that has held up nicely. As long as you're not buying it from the counter at a gas station most knifes are going to hold up pretty good.

Leatherman it's not even close. They started making knives 4-5 years ago. It's the same quality metal as multitools.Holds an excellant edge for long time.
