In my 3 tours, you know how many times i fired my pistol?

Once, to shoot a dog, and it was more of a "bet you can't hit the dog with your 9" type thing.

in my 9 years of home ownership, you know how many times i've had to shoot my pistol? Zero, but i still love an advantage of a higher bullet capacity as part of my selection process of a pistol.

That's my point. Why candy coat the name? Also, Homeland Security is more Homeland Recovery than Security.

You're missing the point. In your home, your pistol is probably your primary weapon system. In combat, not so much.

I agree, but I guess people feel iffy about having a "war department."

Guess it makes us look civil?

I understand and concede your point but in still choosing any weapon system, whether it be primary or secondary, capacity still plays a role to a variant degree.

Less than 1 percent. I never said they wouldn't use it, everyone tries to make it out like all 250,000 Marines are fielding the 1911 when it's actually closer to 2000.

I only shot my M9 once but I already know it will be one of my favorites.

My Colt 1991 A1 Series 80 is also a joy to shoot and very accurate.
At the range everyone there wanted to shoot it...
