Pros
Good at finding deer sign
Good at trailing blood trails
Decent fisherman

Cons
No matter what I do, I am absolutely terrible at finding the spot I shot a deer to track it. I try to take mental pictures, pick out tree branches, leaves on the ground, patches of grass, etc and it takes me wandering around forever to even find the blood trail. Once I am on it though, I am good. It drives me absolutely insane that I cannot find the point of impact. Not very good at finding doves either.

I have 3 kids that hunt and kill deer. I don’t foresee a need to punch all of my tags for a long time. I have no problem tagging deer.

I seem to make better shots on pigs and squirrels.

When younger and heavily into small game hunting I could hit stuff on the fly or run easily. Flying ducks and running rabbits were no problem.

Pretty good with a rod and reel. Good enough I would never starve with either fresh or saltwater fishing.

Can tolerate cold much better than heat, so heat and humidity is my kryptonite. OK with snakes, gators and most other wildlife, but absolutely hate gnats and mosquitoes.

If stranded in the swamps in the summer months, between the heat, humidity, gnats and mosquitoes, I'd likely go insane.

I see those contestants on the show "Naked And Afraid" who are dropped off in desolate places, often in the summer months and they are eaten up by mosquitoes, gnats, ants and other crap that would drive me nuts. I'm one of those that lump up when bitten by mosquitoes and for some reason, I'm like a magnet for them.

Strengths Deer Hunting (Bow)
Bass Fishing

I killed a nice 8pt and caught an 8 lb bass in a three month period a few years ago within 15 miles of each other in North Louisiana My Claim To Fame !!

Weakness - Duck hunting / too many damned rules and I don't like to get wet when it's freezing.

Otter

I shot one when I was 12 or 13 thinking it was a nutria and my dad made me eat it. Probably the worst wild game I've ever eaten.
