On a sidenote to this, who brings buttwipe to the blind? Field dumps are the pinnacle of the hunt if you have some Charmin with Aloe.

Yeah and of course they're needed. I just feel like a division of science and law enforcement is bullshite. There are states where biologists double as law enforcement. I rather get a ticket from someone who truly cares about why they're giving out fines and knows the reasoning behind laws and not just so they can feel powerful and get a hard on

Charmin was the very first thing that went into my Ranger. With my kids hunting with me it is necessary.

I believe the LA state guys are more LEO orientated. In fact, I think they go through the same academy as the State Troopers. Doubt many of them took biology past high school.

Nothing worse than having to drop a deuce in the marsh, I've contemplated just wearing a diaper

Yeah you're exactly right. I know the Colonel and Lt. Colonels. Looked into becoming one of them. They go through a paramilitary type academy that lasts about 6 months. Rigorous physical training. Have to be able to do everything that one can do on land, in water. There are people yelling at you, trying to break you down. You get a crash course on wildlife enforcement. Then once you graduate you're assigned to an agent who takes you under their wing for a year or two. In a nutshell they don't jack shite about biology and ecology

Marsh dumps are complicated if you are stuck to the confines of a boat with your bros. Flooded timber is also tricky if you don't pre-scout a good tree with proper water clearance/sturdiness.

It would seem so, but I have rather successfully trained myself to shite upon first sip of my wake up cup at the house and evacuate the city of New Orleans/release the Kraken before I leave the house/camp.

I hunt public land, so nothing too substantial.
-cereal at the house
-breakfast sandwich on the way out with a thermos of coffee

-flask of brown water and cliff bar in the shell holder/hand warmer.
