No alcohol allowed while hunting in our camp. Have hurt the feeling of a few guest, but if you wanna drink, your gun goes back into the case. Now once we're done huntin'....

It's not hard to do if you're making a morning hunt, but if you're doing a hunt you can cook a gumbo, I'm with guys I want to be with and know. It has to be like synchronized swimming or you can have a bad day. That only comes with getting tight or experience.

We keep a Coleman camp stove and bottles of propane in a large box in our blind. Breakfast could be any combination of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, or toast.
We also keep several bottles of water in that box as well as bringing cans of Dr. Pepper and a thermos of coffee. There may also be honey buns, granola bars, or various snack cakes.

My cousin (R.I.P.) on the left and me calling at some ducks while cooking breakfast in the blind.

Man, many of you sure do bring lots of food, drink, etc. to the blind.

We stop at Buc-ee's and eat our tacos en route to the blind. I'll bring a can of dip, Cliff bar, and water to the blind.

The times I've checked my jacket for shot has always been with a kid or a bible thumper whose only high is trying to shoot ducks.

Who in the frick brinks whiskey to the blind in the morning? I think most of those posts are bull shite lies.

I am also surprised at many of yall drink while yall hunt. That's just stupid.

You want to drink, stay at the camp.

Gun and alcohol don't mix. period.

Yeah, I want nothing to do with whiskey at 6AM. We usually bring some beers for the ride back to the camp, but I'm not pounding beers while birds are flying.

At that point, its about the drinks and not the hunt. Stupid IMO.

twice I ran places that guided hunts....

one place hunted 5 days a week all season - booked solid with 8 groups per hunt...

EVERY HUNT there was someone wanting to drink and hunt...about every third hunting day we had to stop someone...

4 times in 6 years we had to tell somebody - NO you cannot hunt today

That's kind of surprising. Guess I hunt with a different crowd. I drink just as much whiskey as the next guy, and so does everyone I hunt with. I just choose to keep my hunting and drinking separate.
