Weird Copperhead Pic

I was hiking a couple of months back and ran into this big arse snake. It moved as one, and my buddy and I obviously stayed the hell away from it. Looking closely at the pic, it looks like a weird birth defect or another copperhead got their head stuck up its anus.
Has anyone else seen anything similar?

No I'm just asking a question I've been wondering about. We watched it for a good 5 minutes or so and it/they slithered across the path and we never saw the other head.
