Matrix mini blue horizon was almost out performing live crickets if you can believe it. Noticing we had to get behind lily pads or in between openings or holes between them. Or like you said, right on a stump or tree. Did not want to chase bait, wanted it right in front of them.

Put together a decent box in Venice on Saturday. Not a limit but enough to make everyone on the boat happy.

39 nice specks at the trestles Saturday, first time there. As Reb said, it was a shite show. I'll go back during the week though. 30 minute and 3$ of gas, hard to pass up.

we were in there saturday for a tournament and did pretty well

Spent the week at the camp in Leeville with my son and ended up with 207 specks fishing Monday through Saturday. Awsome week with my kid and lots of big trout
