Wow. Guy better buy you and the others a few cases of beer.

How close did the boat come to hitting you?

Good job

Just glad others came to help. Glad my buddy is awesome on big lake. Very skilled. Knew the fastest way in. It was a great team effort. I wish we could told some of the guys thanks that were there but we left them at the scene and didn't see them again.

I can see the obvious need with a tiller handle.... this guy was in at least an 18 ft bay boat on the lake with very little chop and he fricking ended up in the water. I wouldn't have thought a bay boat. It happened.

When you were plucking him from the water, how far off was his boat circling?

20ft maybe. We looked to make a play to stop it bit decided to frick that notice as it was at at least 75% throttle. We focused everything on him. Someone kept eye on boat. People is hard to pull out of water. My buddy is jam up and he well positioned his boat to come from a good angle help and keep us from being away from his boat

Someone lost the deck on their pier a year ago and it was drifting across the lake just below the surface. We couldn't see it even after we hit it.

As the boat did some sort of acrobatics and I felt myself leaving I thought, " I'm glad I have my kill switch on, but a life jacket would be nice." Now, I'm adamant about wearing both.

Btw, my buddy was thrown across the boat and hit me just in time to pin me to the side, so I stayed onboard.

Between that experience and racing out of red river south to a man being circled by his boat, I can attest to the importance of both.

Damn, good work saving the guy.

Where in Big Lake did you find him? Do you know what hospital they sent him to?

Yep. We were done after we got through hugging and pulling 2x12s out of the lake.

Off south cheniere reef. It was a 10 minute run straight north to heberts at 52 mph if that helps. Cops told me he was going to memorial. I called but they said he didn't go there. Idk

I've been in boats all my life and don't understand how you can fall out the boat while driving unless you are acting like an a-hole and/or drunk.
