Looks like it would be a hell of a lot better for dove hunting than deer hunting.

Up in SD my brother puts out cedar 4x4 posts for the deer to rub on and they work like a charm. He doesn't hunt them but he puts cameras on them. Since there are so few trees up that way, he is able to concentrate some buck activity and gauge the shooter bucks in the area. I don't see how this would really be any different. I would never pay $100 for it, but the theory behind it is sound I think.

Don't use soap and bathe in doe piss before you climb 12 feet up a tree and wait for the deer to come to your mound of corn.

It's pretty common in the Midwest to put a scrape tree in a food plot or ag field to draw activity within bow range. It also increases the chances of getting bucks on camera.

With that said, most people just bury a post and attach limbs to it.

doesnt seem like the worst idea ever

I've been scouting before and saw a perfect tree for a stand but wish i had a smaller tree around for additional cover... this would do the trick

now I would never spend money on this, I'm sure i could put together on my own

Silly at first but I bet it would work.

Great for those that want trees in their yard but hate raking leaves.

While I don't have one and wouldn't buy one, the purpose is to use this to make an artificial deer scrape in a food plot or area that is within range of your stand

During the rut bucks (and does) continually check scrapes which are many times in the woods and on ridge tops. If you get a scrape going in a more open area, you could have Mr. Big come out in daylight to check it out

Mock scrapes / licking branch

Just ordered 20 of them. have some 1 acre food plots the deer skirt around. Gonna make me a fake tree line that runs through the plot and maybe the deer will feel more comfortable walking across it

With my scentloc clothes, and ozonics scent control device im sure ill get that shooter into range of my stump blind and I can shoot him with my crossbow. Will finally be able to use my WGI measuring tape for those horns

Oh, no. You have to go cut real limbs to attach to it so the leaves on those limbs will still fall off.

You've got to cut limbs for it anyway, why not just cut a tree down yourself? Or better yet, just plant an oak that will have acorns one day.

When I first saw this...I thought....man if that thing came with dead leaves and live leaves...perfect for fooling HOAs that have restrictions saying you have to have 1 tree in your front yard.

On a serious note, what is the market for this?
