Utility trailer stolen off my truck while hunting (UPDATE on Pg 3: Found)

Went in at 6am. Came out at 10:30am. No trailer.
Always assumed people would steal ratchet straps or anything else you leave hanging around, but never the damn trailer....in a federal refuge, especially.
Lesson learned.

Post a pic of it on the Dewey Wills and the GC NWR facebook. Further north there aren't a lot of issues with theives but there are always exceptions. I can't speak for that NWR. Could also call the office and put it on record with their office.

Same. Worse shite ever. The reason I brought up the DW fb is because I saw someone had their boat stolen a few weeks back and posted it and there are a big group of people that hunt and live in that area that are active on that fb page. I would bet alot of the same people are familiar with Grand Cote.

shite someone stole my neighbors out of his driveway with his truck blocking it. Our camera system went down the week before. Neighbor got it back and smaller trailer but the guy walked right up and walked it around so he could back up his truck to it. His camera got it but wanted more angles and my dogs were barking then also but they bark to much at night so we just usually check the cameras on the phone but they were down.

DNR needs to start doing Bait Car style sting operations on WMA's. Not just for trailers, but leave a pickup parked in the middle of nowhere with something valuable in the back, etc. Even though the larceny part of it doesn't necessarily carry a big sentence, you can probably tack on plenty of drug charges once you find them, and tack on to likely priors and put some of these crooks away for a good while, and certainly deter other thieves.
